Looking for love has always been a difficult thing to do and thankfully, in Anticlove, you can experience what is it to be like to have a campus filled with cool boys that you can meet and flirt with. Not to mention, your campus isn’t what it seems to be – uncover the mystery behind the disturbing dreams your character has been getting!
To start playing, you’ll first need to learn the basics of the game. Thankfully, Anticlove provides a nifty tutorial to guide you through the process. The stars in the game world indicate places that you can go to. To change location in the game, you can just click on the stars. But of course, each change of location will cost you 1 action point.
You’ll get between 5 and 20 AP each day depending on how often you log into the game. To check how many AP you have left, there’s a helpful AP indicator on the upper right side of the screen right beside the in-game cash indicator. When you run out of AP, you’ll need to wait until the next day to get more or you can buy some using real money from Rachel at the bank. You can also earn more AP by playing mini-games.
Itching to bump into your first cool-looking guy in the game? Well, hold on those horses there! You should know something about how the affinity system works in Anticlove as well. The affinity circle (it’s a bit more “heart”-shaped though) is shown on the left side of most characters in the game, including female characters. In Anticlove, you play as an archaeology student who has just gotten accepted to Palentir, a renowned Archaeological Institute in Egypt, along with your best friend, Marilyn. However, things took a turn for the worse when an unknown call warned you about a past evil that will come and take revenge on the world. As you went on your first archaeological trip, you stumbled upon a weird Egyptian amulet that is beginning to affect your dreams – it somehow brings you back to the past as an Egyptian princess. The storyline in the game is admittedly a bit cheesy but also very engaging. You’ll long to know more about those weird dreams and their significance in Anticlove.
In addition to an interesting plotline, the game also offers a dressing room section, whereby you can head to the store, purchase new outfits, accessories and hairstyles, and put them on. For a dating simulation game, the choices provided are pretty sufficient, though it’ll be great to have even more choices. Anyhow, all the items can be purchased using in-game cash and you can earn more cash by playing mini-games.
Mini-games in Anticlove include “Amon’s Surprises” and “Howard, it’s stronger than you”. For “Amon’s Surprises”, you just need to scratch the picture to look for Amon’s Gift. The rewards aren’t as lucrative (less than 10 in-game dollars) though the game is very simple to play. You can only play this game for 3 times per day. For the second game, you can earn up to 5 AP by merely choosing the correct door from the choices given. It’s mainly a luck-based game.
Lastly, in Anticlove, you simply mustn’t miss out signing up for a sorority since you can earn a steady amount of cash from it. The more important your sorority gets, the more cash you can earn. You can also create your own sorority on campus for a hefty 400 in-game dollars.
